"Rocky" on Broadway

Big Apple Orange, Lubin House, and Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts cordially invites you to the enthralling performance of "Rocky" on Broadway.

Everyone knows the classic 1976 film about struggling Philadelphian boxer Rocky Balboa who bravely pursues his one chance to go the distance in the ring. The story of this great American underdog has been adapted to the stage by a five-time Tony Award winning creative team including Alex Timbers, Thomas Meehan, Lynn Ahrens, and Stephen Flaherty. This performance is sure to tug at your heartstrings and awaken the Rocky within you.


The show will take place on Tuesday, February 25th, 2014 at the Winter Garden Theater (1634 Broadway between West 50th & 51st Street). Curtains go up at 8:00pm. Chairman of Syracuse University's Department of Drama Ralph Zito and Tony-Award winning lyricist and 'Cuse alumnus Lynn Ahrens will be hosting a talk-back immediately following the performance.
